Pear, melon & curcuma Juice
Ingredients
For 4 glasses
- 400 g (14 oz) canary melon
- 1 grapefruit
- ½ pear
- ½ Golden Delicious apple
- 1 thin slice of ginger
- ½ lemongrass stalk
- 1 dash of turmeric
Directions:
Remove melon skin and peel grapefruit.
Juice the apple, ginger, lemongrass stalk, pear, melon, and grapefruit—each in succession—using the J 80 or J 100.
Mix well and pour into 4 glasses.
Extra touch: Serve with slices of pear prepared with the Robot-Coupe food chopper (1-mm slicing disc).
Health benefits: Ginger is very good for your health. Like lemongrass, it promotes digestion and prevents cardiovascular disease.
Robot-Coupe tip: Large seeds (as in melons) and thick skins (or rinds, in the case of watermelon) must be removed from fruits and vegetables before juicing.
