Honey Watermelon Juice
For 3 glasses:
- 750 g (26 oz) watermelon
- ½ lemon, peeled
- 20 g (1 T) honey
- 20 g (1½ T) water
Boil honey and water together. Let cool.
Separate watermelon from rind, remove seeds, and cut into big chunks.
Juice watermelon and peeled lemon with the J 80 or J 100.
Pour honey mixture into glass and then add watermelon-lemon juice.
Extra touch: Serve with thin slices of watermelon.
Health benefits: Watermelon has a high water content. Very low in calories, it refreshes without adding extra pounds. Watermelon is also a source of vitamins A, B, and C.
